Bawah Reserve

Anambas Islands, Indonesia

Bawah Reserve is the epitome of a tropical island paradise. Encompassing six islands, three lagoons, and thirteen beaches, the reserve was created with the intention of preserving the delicate marine environment that surrounds it. This care is evident in everything from the intimate capacity of the 35 sustainably-built bungalows to the permaculture gardens onsite.

Nothing is overlooked at Bawah; the reserve has planned for your every need. With four dining establishments on the property, guests are sure to find something that meets their fancy. The sun, waves, and beautifully-conserved marine life provide plenty of enjoyment, and you will dive deeper into your connection with the natural world. When it’s time to come ashore, Bawah puts relaxation first—whether it’s through yoga or massage at the spa, or kicking your feet up at the outdoor cinema on the beach.
